It is my primary duty to determine University of Washington Tacoma admissibility for both First Time in College and Transfer applicants based on the analysis of complex variables including GPA calculation, College Academic Distribution Requirements, Intermediate Algebra proficiency and evaluation of personal statement. I serve as the primary analyst regarding the evaluation and awarding of transfer credit by completing course-by-course evaluations of transfer credit in order to determine appropriate University of Washington course equivalencies. I also advise prospective and current students as well as other campus partners regarding transfer credit awards and current admission policies and procedures.

I served as the primary person responsible to advise and answer front-line questions from students, parents and campus partners concerning Financial Aid programs, regulations, and processes in person, via email or phone. Various duties and experience include:• Retrieve messages and return phone calls.• Provide conflict resolution in sometimes difficult and/or stressful environments.• Handle inquiries/complaints in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.• Send necessary packets of financial aid/scholarship information to prospective students or other campus departments via mail/ or interoffice courier as requested.• 2007-2008 coordinated the Short Term Loan program by processing applications, awarding funds and reconciling records• Complete outside agency/third party payment forms• Supervised/trained new employees to be knowledgeable and capable of answering basic Financial Aid inquiries• In depth knowledge of COCO/SAFERS and Financial Aid Management (FAM) systems• Familiar with EdExpress/ interpreting ISIR data• Evaluate Educational Program Plans• Prepare and review files for completion prior to advisor review• Review incoming documents for completion and inform student of any required. outstanding documents• Tracked incoming documents• Assist Financial Aid advisors with outreach/financial aid presentations• Assist Scholarship coordinator with reconciling scholarship budgets quarterly/annually• Assist Accounting specialist with quarterly enrollment reports• In depth knowledge of federal, state and institutional polices regarding Financial Aid policies and procedures
