Lean is a B2B(2C) payments start-up that helps get gig workers paid right. Joining as the company’s second designer, I have owned the end-to-end consumer experience. During my time at Lean I’ve redesigned the worker app and partner dashboard, launched an instant pay product,
 a cash-advance product, and iteratively enhanced the experience across the worker’s journey towards a more stable and secure financial outlook.I am responsible for the full design process, from research through handoff. I facilitate and synthesize (end-user and partner) research initiatives, conduct A/B tests and design workshops, maintain/prioritize dev sprints and backlogs, and lead QA sessions.I collaborate closely with legal, risk, and CS to ensure everything from KYC to comms is managed responsibly and fluidly for the worker. I maintain strong relationships with tech to ensure implementation is water-tight, efficient, and something we’re all excited about. My healthy rapport with product ensures our business outcomes and end-user outcomes are mutually favorable.

During my time at AKQA I had the joy of leading (amazingly talented) teams and designs of native apps, responsive websites, and web apps for clients such as the Mayo Clinic, Delta, Procter & Gamble, Olive AI, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Volvo.I took pleasure in mentoring young designers towards 
their goals and fostering fruitful team dynamics.I worked with numerous (provider and B2B/payer) healthcare clients through the industry’s complexity and brokenness, towards more compassionate and patient- centric experiences.

Design for iOS / Android applications and websites for clients like Nike, Maybelline, Blink Fitness, Clif Bar, Guardian, and HSBC.Amongst other projects, I led the initial launch and first year of iterations for the Blink Fitness app, where I was enmeshed with the client, clarifying the roadmap, prioritizing features, and executing on the end-to-end design (user research through UX, visual, and handoff).
