Interfile, renowned as the originators and developers of South Africa's largest e-filing system, was initially adopted by the South African Revenue Service (SARS e-filing) and later by various government departments at national, provincial, and local levels. This system facilitated declarative workflows such as claims processing, declaration processing, new service applications, and electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) services for South African citizens. Under Kate's leadership, Interfile processed over 600 billion rand in fully reconciled payments for both the South African Government and private sector clients.
