Recently graduated with a masters in public health focusing on international health development. I have experience in research project management, outreach, program design and implementation and data analysis. I worked in technical support and licensing for 3 years at a biotechnology company before returning to school for my masters. My goal is to gain experience in international health by working overseas as a project manager, in monitoring and evaluation, advocacy and outreach. I have a strong interest in maternal and child heath, issues affecting people with HIV and AIDS as well as gender issues and women's empowerment. My region of focus is India, and I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant last summer on a project in Jharkhand that was focused on malaria in pregnancy.
