Kate Sharp serves as the Senior Vice President, International Media, at the PGA TOUR. Kate oversees all areas that contribute to supporting international media partnerships and the business development team. These areas include day-to-day partnership management for over 50 deals, live & ancillary production, delivery and support infrastructure for international content, and data & analytics. Kate was an integral part of the deal team that closed the single largest deal in PGA TOUR history with Warner Bros. Discovery in 2018 and was subsequently responsible for managing all aspects of the partnership and overseeing the TOUR's interests with the international OTT platform, GOLFTV powered by PGA TOUR. Kate contributes to the long-term growth strategy for the PGA TOUR’s international media business, ensuring that media rights fee growth is balanced by distribution across diverse platforms, both traditional television and digital platforms, and localized experiences for international fans on a market-by-market basis. Kate joined the PGA TOUR team in 2006 as a Scheduling Coordinator at PGA TOUR Productions, before moving to International Media in 2007 and establishing herself as a leader within the media team. Under Kate's leadership, the partnerships management team has grown from four people in 2010 to 16 in 2024, including employees located in each of the PGA TOUR’s international offices: Beijing, Tokyo, & London. In addition to more than doubling the media rights revenue over the last 13 years, the international media team has also doubled the PGA TOUR's reach and distribution outside the US. Kate grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and is a graduate of the University of Melbourne. She has a bachelor’s in computer engineering and a bachelor’s in mathematical physics. She immigrated to the United States in 2002 after accepting a position, based in Jacksonville, FL, with Information & Display Systems (now SMT). She spent her early career developing and supporting real-time software interfaces to communicate between scoring programs and television graphic systems for the ATP/WTA and international broadcasters. She became a U.S. citizen in 2013.
