Ms. Kate Sidell is an Environmental Scientist with the firm of DuBois Environmental Consultants. She is responsible for faunal and floral sampling investigations, environmental site assessments and on-site soil analysis. She also handles any technical support needed in various rare, threatened, and endangered species studies. Ms. Sidell is also responsible for the organization and execution of various environmental reports including Letter of Interpretations (LOIs), feasibility studies, site assessments, and permitting for a wide variety of projects. Ms. Sidell has gained an extensive experience using ESRI Arc Map Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software and global positioning systems (GPS). She has also performed biological/environmental construction monitoring associated with utility right-of-way's throughout New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

Collected data on passing dolphins and whales, including using photographic identification based on their dorsal tails or the underside of their flukes to identify the dolphins/whales within the Cape May, New Jersey Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) catalog, recorded the behaviours of the animal, recorded the environment the animals appear in, etc. Input the data and sent to Whale and Dolphin Conservation. Trained in Whale Sense. Lead the touch tank presentation to customers on board and informed them of fun facts about the local sea creatures they were being shown. Educated passengers on local sea creatures that we would see from the boat and answered any questions they had.
