I relocated from Rockhampton to Brisbane for a similar role based in the Newstead head office. My role centres primarily around the Energex Corporate offices whilst still includes some Ergon properties and the same responsibilities.

In this position I was responsible for a large geographical area of Ergon property assets including depots, substations, communication towers and corporate offices. I managed a large group of subcontractors of all trades in rural and remote areas. Safety was a primary concern for the client and I quickly developed skills in WHSE managment, permit writing and even assisting contractors in writing SWMS. I managed budget requirements, met KPI's and facilitated planned maintenance.

Maintain CQU owned and leased properties from Cairns – Perth including co-coordinating maintenance items and trades persons, liaise with Associate Director regarding property enquiries, project property income and expenditure, project, forecast and review budget requirements, review and action lease renewals, negotiate, type and review new commercial leases, memorandum of understanding or licence to occupy agreements, create purchase requisitions/ purchase orders and negotiate minor contracts for metro campuses, calculate and renew rental increases for CQU commercial tenants, calculate outgoings for commercial tenants, draft reports for the Deputy Director, accurate record keeping of property information, general Administration duties.
