Evaluates, develops treatment goals, and provides treatment to adults 18+ with brain injury in the post-acute setting. Diagnoses include: traumatic brain injury, stroke, cancer, brachial plexus injury, CRPS, adhesive capsulitis, rotator cuff injury.Treatment techniques: Saebo (certified therapist), PNF, functional activities (furniture refinishing, gardening, cooking, woodworking, grocery shopping), exercise programs, vision rehabilitation, cognitive activities.

o Carried full caseload with adults 18-65 in the acute mental health unit. Diagnoses include the following: Mood Disorders (depression, bipolar I), Psychotic Disorders (schizophrenia, d/t substance abuse), Anxiety Disorders, Personality Disorders (narcissistic, borderline). o Evaluates patient needs and develops treatment plan with team based on results of assessments and medical records to restore patients’ functional performance in daily and community activities. o Provides treatment for individuals and groups utilizing techniques from the following: occupational activities, sensory coping strategies, therapeutic use of craft, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relaxation, stress reduction techniques, creating/following schedules. o Assists with evidence-based practice by acquiring articles and performing literature review.

o Began carrying full caseload 4th week with adults 19-65 with following diagnoses: Traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, brachial plexus injury, CVA (stroke), wrist fractures, depression, schizophreniao Administered screenings and evaluations, developed treatment plans based on results, patient referrals and medical records to increase successful participation in daily activities and community life.o Provided treatment sessions for individuals and groups, utilizing the following techniques: Functional Groups (practicing pragmatics, understanding brain injury), Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Joint mobilizations, Brunnstrom techniques, general strengthening & therapeutic exercises/activities, home exercise programs, taping protocols for shoulder subluxation, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, static and dynamic splinting, Bioness hand stimulation system, & Interactive Metronome.
