While at Roger Williams, I have been employed with the event production crew at the Univeristy. While there, I have assisted on multiple large scale live events such as concerts ( including load ins and load outs) for artists such as Big Sean, Bowling For Soup, The White Panda, Krewella and B.O.B. I have also assisted on dance shows, acapella concerts and speaker series hosted by the University. My employment with Stage Crew has sharpened my skills in lighting, stage managment and live event production.

Through Pratt, I assist as a teacher in a program called DICE( Design Initiative for community Engagement). This need based program offers a variety of courses and aids high school and middle school students in developing their skills and preparing a body of work which they can continue to develop into a portfolio. My fellowship is focused on assisting in a class called Drawn to Print, where students hone their understanding of transferring a polished drawing into a print.

I am currently based in Brooklyn, New York. I am attending Pratt Institute, where I will receive my Masters in Art and Design Education in the Spring of 2019. Although I listed primary school, I am also interested in secondary education as well. I am an enthusiastic, creative educator who believes in letting her students grow through experimenting with materials and mediums. I expose my students to a diverse tapestry of artists and encourage students to take risks and challenge themselves. As part of student teaching, I participated in the Saturday Art School Program at Pratt, where I have taught and currently teach ages 10-18. Within this program I have taught skills and lessons in drawing, painting and printmaking.

I worked as a production assistant for Musical improv group "Baby Wants Candy" at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. I handed out flyers for the group, helped film and helped run shows.

At McCarter I was responsible for checking in with each class in the summer program and supplying the classes with what they needed. I gathered props, set pieces and made some of them. I helped run a few arts and crafts activities, attended to the daily room scheduling of the classes and was responsible for an assistant and delegating his tasks. I helped with some stage management elements, and overall anything that needed to be done to help my employers run a more efficient program.

I worked at Tockwogh for two years as a staff member as a camp counselor and sailing instructor. I attend Tockwogh as a kid and participated in two of their youth leadership programs.
