• Research and implementation of current legislation & best practice specifically the Health & Social Care Act 2008 • Development of operational policies and procedures & cascade across 15 registered locations, supporting managers throughout the regulatory process (Ofsted, Care Quality Commission) • Implementation of systems and processes to underpin procedures, for example risk assessment; quality assurance; Adverse Event data; audit; care planning; information documents; Mental Health Act administration; Person Centred Planning; Care Program Approach systems; Clinical Governance; Deprivation of liberty screening & referral procedures • Assessment & recommendations for potential service provision • Advice & consultation for managers re current legislation & best practice e.g. Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005 (including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards).
