I taught listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, study skills, and pronunciation classes at all levels of CESL's Intensive English Program.I taught classroom management and methodology, and coordinated the Teaching Practicum in CESL's 100 Hour TEFL Certificate program. Similarly, I coordinated the practicum for CESL's TESOL Institute in Guangzho, China. Finally, I taught multiple online TEFL courses for CESL's 50 Hour TEFL Certificate program.

In collaboration with Peace Corps TEFL Trainer: - Built TEFL training curriculum and developed training materials.- Trained 17 adult Peace Corps trainees in TEFL methodology, lesson planning, cross-cultural communication, classroom management strategies, and assessment tools.- Provided logistical support and mentoring to 17 trainees.As a TEFL teacher: - Designed communicative EFL lessons and curriculum emphasizing basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in the near absence of educational resources, including textbooks.- Implemented communicative EFL lessons for 300 secondary school students from diverse linguistic backgrounds (class sizes ranging from 40 to 70).- Collaborated with counterparts to revise Chadian national EFL curriculum.- Facilitated adult EFL conversation classes for 20 Chadian civil servants (in Chad) and later, 15 Mauritanian women (in Mauritania). Classes focused on communicative competence.- Cooperated with Chadian colleagues to organize and lead extracurricular English Club and Girls’ Club activities.
