Kate Vega is a Mexican-American Illustrator and Graphic Designer, Mother, native to Sarasota.Kate started out as a cartoon-and-manga-obsessed kid and used that as inspiration to hone her artistic skills. After years of experimenting with traditional art mediums (i.e. pencil, pen&ink, and watercolors), she can successfully draw in realistic, semi-realism, and manga styles. She likes to digitally illustrate as well. Obviously, she is absolutely in love with Illustration.Her interest in design began in an intro to graphic design course in middle school. The artistry and passion her teacher demonstrated when creating art through digital mediums as well as teaching, deepened her curiosity for graphic design and digital art. She holds an A.S. in Graphic Design Technology. Kate enjoys bringing her designs to life by means of playful, illustrative characters and elements.
