As the Editor in Chief of The Colonnade, I was responsible for budgeting, writing and editing,publishing and overseeing the rest of the staff.

I am grateful to begin this position as head news editor at Georgia College's campus newspaper, The Colonnade. After having contributed to the paper since January 2022, I am thrilled to be stepping into an editorial role.

I began this position as a Team Member in January of 2023 and was promoted to Shift Lead in August of 2023.

I spent the summer covering Georgia-centric politics from Atlanta, the state's political hub. I attended and reported on a range of events, from Senate Study Committees to Trump and Harris Presidential Campaign rallies. The summer of 2024 was an incredible time to be a political news intern, and I learned, saw and reported on more than I ever expected.

I worked this role for approximately two years and I was promoted to Supervisor my last year.
