The Judicial Internship allows students to work closely with the Judicial Services Information Services team to prepare County Court sentencing summaries. These summaries are published on the College's sentencing database to provide education and resources to judges, magistrates and VCAT members. This internship provides students an opportunity to develop their case summary skills, and the ability to provide a worthwhile resource for the legal profession.

The VLA Duty Lawyer Internship allows students to immerse themselves in the day to day operations of lawyers and clerks at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court. Duties include liaising with clients, requesting police briefs, contacting external stakeholders and assisting VLA clerks.

DASA provides drug and alcohol workplace testing to reduce risk and improve workplace safety. Working in both Canberra and Melbourne, I provided on-call workplace drug and alcohol testing post incident, either on site or on the road. For motor vehicle accidents, I regularly coordinated scene safety, often in hazardous areas while awaiting police attendance.

Junee Correctional Centre is a maximum security facility that has the capacity for approximately 1,200 male inmates and a small number of female remand cells. Daily duties included preparing case files and reports, searches, escort duties and responding to a wide variety of centre incidents.
