I have extensive experience in the pulp and paper industry, mainly in papermaking, BCTMP and TMP, with limited work in Kraft mills. I recently was Lead Process Engineer for tailings and water reclaim systems design for the oil sands (2 years), and for design of a steam turbine generator installation at a Kraft pulp mill.I specialize in water and energy conservation studies and projects, and have a strong background in CadSim mass and energy modelling, hydraulic modelling of piping systems, and general plant design and maintenance in the Pulp & Paper Industry.I maintained a CMVP designation for over seven years and APEGA registration for 3 years, and I have been a licenced Professional Engineer in BC since 1991.I work well both independently and as part of a team, and as a mechanical engineer or process engineer.I have done consulting work for a majority of the pulp and paper mills in BC as well as Alberta.
