I have worked in the field of Child Development since 1984, first as Supervisor for Infants/Toddlers in the private sector and later as a Pre-school Assistant in the public schools. I have also worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support for The Achievement Center, serving children and families in home and community settings. Working for Millcreek Child Development in pre-school classrooms, included a year with children in the autistic support classroom. Recently I worked with the pre-school group at Young Environment Learning Center, a return to where I started in Child Development 30 years ago! I brought my yoga training to the pre-school classroom with engaging child centered activities that both challenge and calm. It is my desire to provide quality compassionate care for children of all ages and to assist them in reaching their individual and educational goals through well planned programs and day to day interactions. Using kindness and compassion and one-on-one educational support as well as daily attention to routine and special needs, it is my hope to raise individual levels of development and aid each child in achieving a strong foundation of learning experiences and personal excellence.Continuing with studies in Yoga, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology I seek to serve people of all ages in their search for personal growth and transformation through personal awareness and healthy living. Using time tested truths of Ayurveda and Yoga; through pulse diagnosis, Jyotish and individual counseling I assist others to connect to their authentic purpose and potential. Bringing balance to imbalance, and illumination to obscurity, others are finding their significance through daily practices and simple shifts in perspective.
