Hi I'm Kate Wilson.I am currently studying for a diploma in Sport and recreation at SIT in Invercargill. This is a four year course, which involves leadership and coaching skills and learning about physiology and human performance in sport. I am passionate about cycling and are dedicated to being the best I can. Recently I have been coaching children so they can become passionate about something I am. I thrive in seeing others improve and achieve their goals. I hope to represent Southland in road cycling in the future.I have also completed Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh award. I enjoy giving back to the community. I have now started the Gold award with the hopes of finishing it in the near future.The Duke of Edinburgh Award has opened me up to a variety of new skills and meeting new people, making me develop as an individual. I believe in determination and perseverance to achieve goals. In time i would like to help athletes to achieve in there sporting fields by becoming a coach/personal trainer.
