I undertook a 12 month secondment as the HR Solutions Partner for Enabling Functions. I deliver comprehensive HR support and guidance to various departments, including Legal, Global HR, Global Compliance, Global Corporate Affairs, and GPPM. I oversee employment matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and attendance support, ensuring compliance and effective resolution. Additionally, I play a pivotal role in supporting HR initiatives such as Pulse, RPD, Business Change, Performance Development, SPOC, and succession planning, contributing to the overall organisational effectiveness.An aspect of my responsibilities involves facilitating senior talent moves and promotions, aligning with organisational objectives and their growth strategies. I am actively involved in delivering data insights and recommendations to five areas within Enabling Functions, leveraging analytical skills to support informed decision making processes. Through collaborative efforts with HRBPs, I have independently managed various projects, notably implementing SPOC through platforms like Workday and Orgvue, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.Furthermore, I engage in HR initiatives such as succession planning, pulse surveys, data sharing, and our people agenda.I take an active role in running alignment meetings, RPD sessions and delivering metrics, data, and strategic insights into our Pulse results to Leadership. • Source and pipeline future talent, screen and interview candidates for both internal and external roles at various levels. I sourced, headhunted and screened potential candidates. Planned assessment centres and interview processes for the Governing Board. Structured the shortlisting process for schools – acting as a mentor and giving guidance to inexperienced governing Boards. Sitting on the interview panel as required followed by interview task planning, presentation topics through to offer. • I sourced, headhunted and screened senior leadership candidates following the stringent due diligence and planning process, nurturing these candidates through to application. I was able to secure some dynamic and forward-thinking passive talent which would be taking the school to the next level both for the staff but most importantly for the students.• Utilising a strict shortlisting process, I would guide and influence the Governing Board in following the correct guidelines. I would work with the Board to design their interview and assessment process which often ran over two days, planning the tasks, presentation topics and panel questions. Attending these interviews often meant I would need to sit on the interview panel and during presentations where I would often be asked to critique and challenge candidates. Finally, I would deliver the rejections and feedback to unsuccessful candidates• Designing, attending and being an active stakeholder in the shortlisting and interview days, preparing and supporting the Chair of Governors, Head Teachers, interview panels as well as the candidates and having an active role on the interview panel as requested. • Attending and presenting at the external governor meetings, supporting, advising and guiding the panel through the recruitment process.
