Provided strategic direction to determine priorities, goals, and objectives to ensure district communications were current, accurate, effective, unified, consistent, and timely. Had the privilege of working with an amazing team with clear, cogent, and kind leadership.

Wrote over 1,500 articles: reviews, travel features, Austin culture sections, columns, blog posts; Edited over 100 special issue sections, 10,000 works, articles, and more, more, more. Promoted editorial mission in hundreds of local TV and radio broadcasts, regional print, online outlets, street team actions, outside of 40-hour week. Directed Internship program, managed 100s of interns, mentored numerous emergent writers and editors.

Created Media curriculum and chaired the Art Department for private, college prep high school. Taught a variety of media literacy skills to Freshmen and Senior students.

Worked in a variety of positions to grow and sustain a home-based music business for ~a decade. This situation set the path for my next career byways.
