Oversaw institutional fundraising and special campaigns for a world-renowned performing arts organization. Managed an institutional portfolio of 200 donors totaling $15M in annual funding, with annual gifts ranging from $2,500 to $1.5 million; and an individual portfolio of 50 donors with annual gifts ranging from $2,500 to $250,000. While at the Met, institutional support increased by 15 percent and special campaign support increased by 25 percent.

Managed all areas of contributed income: institutional giving, government contracts, individual appeals, board liaison, and special events for a critically acclaimed youth theater company. Responsible for establishing and achieving an annual budget of $1.2 million, ensuring that all elements of the annual development plan were completed both quickly and meticulously. Responsible for all aspects of planning and coordination of the 25th Anniversary Family Auction Event, which brought 200 guests together for reception, performance, and live, silent, and online auctions. The 2010 event was the most successful to-date, surpassing previous years’ event income by 60 percent.

In conjunction with a new Director of Development, actively involved in the complete restructuring of the institutional development department at this revered neighborhood performing arts center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Responsible for researching, writing, and processing foundation grants; cultivating and fulfilling corporate member relationships; and completing government applications, helping to secure $1.6 million in institutional funds toward an annual $6 million operating budget.

Year-long graduate fellowship on a team responsible for raising $750,000 annually for a celebrated Brooklyn community arts organization. Responsibilities included coordinating end-of-year appeal to individual donors, maintaining the organization’s grant calendar, and acting as assistant coordinator for annual gala and post-performance events.
