Responsible for sharing the story of Brookings to new and returning visitors through digital and print marketing. Work alongside industry partners to promote their attractions. Assist with creating, editing, and publishing the current visitor guide.

Responsible for sales function of Experience Sioux Falls such as bidding on convention, meeting and event business and conducting site visits. Maintain communication on a regular basis with different business professional and social groups, and local organizing committees that may host or provide leads for future conventions, meetings and events in Sioux Falls. Traveled to tradeshows and events to create brand awareness for the destination.

Worked with the director of marketing and communications to create a weekly email newsletter to be sent to 800 subscribers. Created and drafted posts on Hootsuite for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Utilized Canva.com to create posts and posters for social media and events. Worked on the intern campaign to increase applications for future summer and fall interns.

As an intern with the Vermillion Area Chamber & Development Company, I assisted with Vermillion's REDTalks, Standstill Parade of Lights, UpNEXT Coffee Hour, and pre-planning events for 2022. I wrote scripts for the Chamber manager for weekly radio shows, ribbon cuttings, RED Talks, and UpNEXT Coffee Hour. I created posters and social media posts for the marketing team to utilize. Worked with the events coordinator and events interns to create run sheets for the day of events.

Work with a team to create a community in the residence halls on-campus at the University of South Dakota. Oversee 54 residents within my individual floor to ensure policies are followed and the individual needs of students are met. Working with the other resident assistant in our residential hall, we planned programs for students that created a sense of community, taught wellbeing, and encouraged diversity.

Assist the director and assistant director of ticketing with tasks such as answering phone calls, providing customer service to guests & donors, and purchasing tickets for fans.

Work with student leaders and Student Government Association senators and directors to plan and create a conference for students on campus. Although the conference did not take place, we began preparing for it by researching USD alumni who could be keynote speakers, reserving rooms, and creating marketing material for guests.

Worked with a student partner, faculty advisor, and client to ensure that Click Rain + Lemonly will be the premier marketing company that new graduates and seasoned professionals want to work for. The project includes auditing local colleges and universities, researching internship programs in the region, and market research to learn about attitudes from future interns and jobholders.

Meet biweekly with freshman and transfer students to Beacom School of Business to share information to help the student get connected to campus, learn about resources, and build their social and professional network within the university.

Work alongside a peer and USD Beacom School of Business faculty member to assist a local business in the Sioux Falls area with brand identity, to define their target market and create promotional strategies. Used Qualtrics to perform market research for our client.

2021-2022 Presidential Term:Held a concert for USD students, non-USD students, and community members where we sold 1,845 tickets in 20 days with 1,584 (79%) of student tickets purchased. 82% (1,522) of ticket holders checked into the concert. Created marketing and logos for the concert with "CAB Back in Concert" as the theme. Transitioned from having an advisor to help lead and organize the student organization to becoming the head of CAB with assistance from a graduate assistant. Planned and prepared 10 programs/events during the fall semester and 12 programs during the spring semester. Drafted and rewrote the constitution with the help of the new exec board. Assisted in transitioning the new exec board for 2022-2023 into their roles. Joined the hiring committee to select the new advisor in the role of programming and planning coordinator. 2020-2021 Presidential Term:Design and perform events and programs for students that are consistent with the current University of South Dakota COVID-19 policy. During the fall of 2020, CAB had over 2,500 student interactions. Organize an efficient form of communication with 9 executive board members and 25 members. Work alongside university faculty and other student leaders. Planned and proposed a budget of $141,000 to Student Government Association for the school year 2020-2021. Created giveaway marketing materials and social media posts to grow our social media presence to students.

Attended weekly meetings with the executive board and faculty advisors. Helped plan and host a concert that had over 900 attendees. Designed and scheduled programs that reached over 2,000 students during the in-person school year. Helped conduct interviews for the new executive board for the following school year.

Attended monthly member meetings and gave input to the executive board on upcoming programs. Helped curate and carry out programs for a wide variety of students on campus.

Managed seasonal staff members with a specific focus on customer service and accuracy. Consulted with management to develop marketing content that builds an online presence. Ensured accuracy of revenue by auditing over $100,000 in park fees. Worked with park law enforcement to create a safe environment for guests and employees.

Worked alongside the park manager, district region supervisor, and seasonal staff to provide customer service and exceptional experience to guests. Assisted the park ranger in keeping a safe environment for all visitors. Kept accurate cash drawers and deposited revenue biweekly. Helped assist guests with various needs around the park.

Assisted the owner with inventorying merchandise and updating the Shopify storefront. Worked the front end to help guests learn more about the products and to assist with the sales. Organized and created different presentations of the products throughout the seasons.

Helped plan and host the grand opening for the state's newest state park. Worked along the naturalist to create programs for the public that included topics such as wildlife, wildflowers, and culturally-based for all ages. Helped train volunteers and seasonal staff on point-of-sale for park entrance licenses.
