Kate is the Managing Director of Baldwin Financial Advisors, LLC. Located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Baldwin is a registered investment advisory firm specializing in fee-based financial planning, consulting, and education. Since starting at Baldwin in 1986, she has been passionate about helping her clients build, protect, and sustain their wealth and financial independence while making difficult topics easier to understand. Kate completed her undergraduate studies at DePauw University, earning a B.A. in economics with minors in French and psychology. Furthermore, Kate authored the 2013-2016 editions of Financial Planning Workbooks for the American Bankers Association. These publications are actively referenced by bankers pursuing their Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. She has also co-authored a book in conjunction with Ben Baldwin, Jr, CFP (R) called Guide on Insurance Management as part of the Personal Trust Resource Series (PTRS). Kate continues to enjoy writing and updating texts and courses for the ABA. In addition to being a well-known author, Kate is also a professional speaker. She's been a spokeswoman for a major financial services firm and has appeared in national TV advertisements, Business Week, U.S. News and World Report, Working Woman Magazine, and other publications including the Chicago Tribune. Kate has also taught insurance courses at the American Bankers Association's National Graduate Trust School since 1997. Mrs. Leipprandt is involved with various professional associations including the Financial Planning Association, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Kate is active in her local community as a former Co-President of the local high school's PTA (TPC board). Currently, she's involved with the Arlington Heights, IL Chamber of Commerce and serves on the investment/endowment committees at the local First United Methodist Church.
