Role involves teaching tertiary students Adobe Photoshop CS, raw conversion, compositing, printing and film scanning. This includes instilling best practice techniques in areas of digital workflow, colour management, raw processing and image optimisation. Concepts, techniques and applications of digital imaging are also covered ensuring that students are best equipped to produce final high quality digital prints.

My role at Pandemic Studios, Los Angeles was to create and implement in game Cinematics into the engine under the supervision and direction of the Cinematics Director. A major part of the role entailed setting up environments, props and characters in XSI and applying Motion Capture data to characters. Then using pre-vis and directorial notes to apply and then refine the cameras. Also, setting up these Cinematics in the Proprietary software, SMED, and integrating them into the game. Minor aspects of the role included motion capture clean-up and the animation of simple props.

Brisbane, Australia

Working in Brisbane to create in-game Cutscenes using both XSI and Proprietary software. Responsible for experimentation with, and refining of, in-game cameras under the direction of the Technical Director. The role included creating RECs (Rapid Edit Cuts) for in-game 'camera moments' for missions using Proprietary software and XSI. During this time I created cameras for car and bike jumps, idles, chases, close environments and free-look first person cameras. I would liaise closely with tools designers and mission designers to create and develop cameras and RECs that enhanced the game experience.
