After previously working in the legal world for 12 years, I thought it was time for a change. I have now entered the world of Shipping and I am learning something new everyday. There is so much going on the in the shipping world and there is never a dull moment, from learning the basics of how our fleet works from day to day to all the new regulations in the ever changing world of shipping.Ardmore Shipping is definitely one of a kind with its one team concept, I feel it is felt across the board from shore to sea.Being the Senior Administration Assistant and being part of the Corporate Services team it allows me to work with a lot of teams in the office including the Fleet Management, Crewing, Commercial Operations and our Legal Team. I manage travel, expenses and daily reporting. I also get a great insight into how these teams work with our Seastaff.Progressing to the PR and Communications side of the business has further developed my knowledge within industry and making some great connections.Joining the Energy Transition Team also opened my eyes to all the technologies available within the maritime industry and also how we can progress as a company to help reduce our emissions for the future.
