My role as a Senior Account Manager involved working with a broad range of clients including FMCGs, visitor attractions, financial services and the charitable sector. In particular my work with visitor attractions has been very heavily focused on driving traffic and other KPIs, as well as improving sales conversion rates on websites and through social media channels. I am familiar with dealing with multiple stakeholders through cross agency working, and working collaboratively to ensure consistency in brand approach.I enjoy working as part of a wider team – both learning from more experienced colleagues and helping more junior ones, but I also have the ability to work alone and make decisions where necessary.I have experience in providing clients with and advising clients on website design and build, e-marketing solutions, mobile websites, apps, eCRM, SEO, paid search and social media – the full digital marketing mix.Accounts included PepsiCo, Madame Tussauds, London Eye, Danone, United Biscuits, First Great Western, Standard Bank, Crimestoppers, Godolphin Racing Stables and Royal Free Hospital.

Main Duties and responsibilities included managing client relationships and ensuring that delivery met client expectation, working alongside Project Managers in the implementation of client campaigns and requests and driving forward client development. I managed around 25 clients; these include a mixture of smaller, low budget accounts, long term accounts looking to maximise their marketing spend, plus several large high profile accounts with budget to spend and look to generate significant returns.

Main duties and responsibilities included maintaining and developing Merseyside’s entire Destination Management System, investigating new ICT projects to promote the region in the run up to Capital of Culture 2008, and project managed developments to some 20 consumer and trade websites. Managing a six figure development budget, managing our relationship with various agencies in Merseyside such as Local Authorities, key local businesses, our suppliers and government agencies / funding partners. This was a non technical role, but I have an excellent understanding of how Content / Product Management Systems work. I also gained a good knowledge of the legal issues surrounding data collection, storage and usage.

Main duties included management of the www.visitbath.co.uk consumer website and all associated platforms, Management of UK consumer marketing and budgetary management of consumer and e-marketing. With the marketing team I participated in the formulation of detailed company objectives and policies, and then ensured the effective and efficient implementation of these through I.T. solutions. I also liaised and developed relationships with local, regional and national tourism organisations including local industry associations, South West Tourism and Visit Britain.
