As 1Password's first Manager of Employer Brand, I am working to define the strategy that brings the stories of 1Password's people to the global talent market.

Reporting directly to the SVP, People Operations, I led strategy design, copywriting and execution of organic and paid content for our employer-focused marketing channels (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram, Indeed). Alongside this, I have mentored junior-level talent acquisition specialists in employer brand principles and social media execution. Finally, I acted as writer for C-Suite company-wide internal communications.

Kira is a machine-learning software that helps enterprises better understand what's in their contracts and documents.As Kira's first employer brand specialist, I supported both the strategy design and execution of organic and paid content for our employer-focused marketing channels (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram, Indeed). Additionally, I provided creative direction to Design and Creative teams on marketing collateral such as video projects, careers page and internal presentations for employees. Finally, I led all internal employee communications. Special projects included launching a new culture video initiative during my first two weeks at Kira Systems, creating an awards application strategy to ensure maximum brand exposure, facilitating and moderating internal speaker panels for cultural events such as #IWD2020 and guiding the internal communications strategy behind the company response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent communications during the following months.

Work included aiding on strategy refinement and execution on both consumer focused and employer brand centric social media channels. Alongside this, helped to refine Flipp's internal communications strategy and executed on new initiatives related to internal comms and employee engagement such as redefining Flipp's 400-person company-wide meeting. Special projects have included consulting on employer brand focused projects including revamping of Flipp's careers site as well as strategizing and editing Flipp's culture playbook. Additionally, launched and edited an employer brand focused Medium publication, and assisted on management and execution of corporate events and awards programs such as Startup Open House 2018, Great Places to Work 2019, and Collision 2019.

Toronto based retail technology company focused on changing the way people plan their shopping.Work included handling all user communication regarding service expectations alongside relaying this feedback to appropriate teams. Bi-weekly presentation of feedback and findings to app development teams. Spearheaded the voice of the user through 'Flipp Faces' project - aimed to promote the voice of Flipp's users to the company as a whole. Led user interviews and compiled research based on front line observation that was shared with the company. Special projects included consulting on redesign and implementation of new external and internal 'Help Centre.' Worked to create user-friendly curated content to deflect support tickets, as well as create guidelines, documentation and presentations for customer support team on appropriate and empathetic voice and tone.

Handling of all communication around billing, service expectations and client communication with their Bench bookkeeper.Managed projects such as communication reviews to ensure consistency across bookkeepers, annual subscription renewal process of prepaid clients, as well as the delivery and follow up of Bench's NPS (recommendation score) delivered to 250 clients each month.

Vancouver based FinTech company dedicated to helping small to medium sized businesses with their bookkeeping; ultimately, allowing them to spend more time growing their business. Work included managing a pipeline of clients at varying stages of the sales cycle. Focus on objection handing, initiating the sale, as well as closing. Time spent reaching out to - and educating - specifically eCommerce businesses about the benefits of our service. From there, providing feedback to the marketing team and upper-level management about successes, challenges and ways to improve the outbound and inbound sales process. Spent 3 months pioneering new sales initiatives, including Re-Activation Campaign to re-engage dormant leads. Also helped to pilot Facebook lead generation campaign with one other specialist.

Small businesses dedicated to providing children’s entertainers to both corporate events and private parties.In addition to working as a performer, worked to implement new marketing strategies including a refined social media platform while handling corporate event bookings and designing event specific pricing models and invoices. Work also included all daily operations including client relations and marketing. Scheduled and supervised 10 performers from initial contact to wrap up. Communicated with clients, suppliers and other small business associates to ensure needs were met.
