I participate in professional development opportunities for the advising community. I prepare data to track student enrollment and graduation statistics.

I served as a medical secretary for the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic's Rochester campus. I provided direct support to the pre nurse coordinator care team and a physician's assistant for the kidney and pancreas transplantation programs. I also provided administrative support to the director of the Transplant Center.

I managed communication efforts for a medium-sized Lutheran congregation, which included web and social media presence, and multiple publications. Performed general administrative duties.

Bloomington/Normal, Illinois Area

I coordinated the development of donor impact pieces, facilitated a donor appreciation event for the medical center's first capital campaign, and helped to communicate the impact of donor gifts, including signage and recognition opportunities. I assisted with reporting for a national grant the foundation received and provided support of the launch of a new women's giving initiative. I also managed the foundation's internal grants program for qualifying hospital departments with unbudgeted needs. Maintained some general responsibilities of former position.

I supported the Foundation in raising funds for OSF St. Joseph Medical Center through fundraising events, annual campaigns, and direct mail appeals. My position also included assisting in the coordination of efforts of the medical center's Auxiliary to raise funds and promote the good work of the medical center.

I taught sections of the basic speech communication course to freshmen and transfer students. I also completed an assistantship supporting the director of the field experiences and internship program for the School of Communication.
