I was responsible for maintaining the silver and branded fashion stock file of over 300 stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland, ensuring that every store had the right stock on hand at all times. I updated the department's silver WSSI each week, and then used the OTS to place orders, taking into consideration past sales analysis, my sales forecasts, any promotional activity and intake allowances. I regularly liaised with both national and international suppliers, ensuring that orders were delivered on time to our distribution centre. I was also in daily contact with our stores, assisting with any product or stock queries they had.I created sales and stock reports for the Merchandising Controller, Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser on my team, and also supported them through the undertaking of administrative tasks, such as preparing end of season and sign off packs.

I contributed one fortnightly article which was published online at Her Campus' Nottingham University chapter. Writing for Her Campus Nottingham taught me the importance of understanding my target audience in order to attract as many views as possible, ultimately raising the profile of the online magazine.

I worked across a range of different departments in store during the holidays whilst in my last year at university. I replenished stock on the sales floor, served and assisted customers to ensure they had a positive store experience, and handled monetary transactions. I ran shifts on multiple occasions, leading a team of up to 10 people and coordinating the team's daily tasks.

I called university alumni with the purpose of both maintaining their relationship with our university, and raising money for charitable causes connected with the University of Nottingham. I was one of two student callers chosen to work alongside the Major Gifts team. I called alumni and set up meetings between themselves and a representative from Major Gifts, or pursued a donation if a meeting was not arranged.

I worked alongside fellow members of my hall of residence's JCR to plan events and socials for students living in the hall. We hosted several formal dinners and social events at venues in Nottingham's city centre. I helped plan my hall's Welcome Week and JCR elections for the new first year students.

I worked on a part-time basis whilst at sixth form, which taught me how to effectively manage my time so that I fulfilled both academic and work commitments. I primarily organised deliveries, replenished the sales floor and monitored prescription requests. I also identified and placed orders on popular products, planned seasonal promotions and offers, assisted customers both in store and over a phone call and cashed-up at the end of the day.
