The gdR Leaders @ Scale practice uses a coaching-first training model to develop high-performance team practices that create resilient leadership, accelerate growth and create accountability in team performance. gdR Leaders @ Scale works with startups and scaleups across Toronto's tech ecosystem.As a Trainer: I trained executive teams and managers, delivering practical, social, and highly engaging learning experiencesAs a Leadership System Designer: I designed transformative learning experiences, and led our team's design and innovation work As Client Lead: I partnered with executive leaders and People Ops teams to accelerate growth, manager effectiveness, and team performance at some of Canada's top tech companies

I led the MaRS Talent Development's Early and Mid-Career Program team. We designed and delivered engaging experiential learning to prepare talent with the mindsets and capabilities to work in a startup or growing venture.As Curriculum Lead for MaRS Talent Development, I also led the implementation of our learning management system and the design the #FutureReady core curriculum.

As Manager of Learning and Curriculum Development for the Studio Y Fellowship Program, I led Studio Y's faculty and staff in designing and delivering MaRS' innovative Systems Leadership curriculum, which taught systems thinking, design thinking, anti-oppressive practices, cross-sector connectivity, and personal and team leadership. I led program and curriculum design, development and delivery for an intense, selective, project-based leadership development program which prepared early and mid-career professionals to solve complex challenges and be ready to lead through ambiguity.

• Managed two high caliber internship programs for university and college students, helping them develop leadership and professional skills in business, public policy and community settings across Canada and abroad• Developed organizational partnerships with leading companies, NGOs and government departments across Canada, maintaining active relationships with approximately 60 intern hosts and prospects• Researched and created an outreach strategy and led relationship-building to improve our presence in Quebec and francophone Canada, resulting in a 23% increase in Quebec applications in 2012• Designed curriculum, liaised with speakers, planned and facilitated personal development experiences such as retreats, conferences, forums and wilderness expeditions with a focus on character, service and leadership• Coached, supported and evaluated students to help them set and meet clear learning goals, obtain internships, and effectively participate in our programs• Trained and managed volunteers to identify unconventional, community-oriented leaders, using a rigourous selection process to find the top 30 candidates from 3700 applications annually• As a member of CMSF’s senior staff, worked to model and emphasize a commitment to excellence, open communication, adaptability and fresh thinking

• Re-designed YES’ career development curriculum and trained staff on workshop delivery• Led workshops and one-on-on counselling sessions on career planning, job searching, resumes and cover letters, and employer expectations• Partnered with community organizations to provide employment planning and preparation training• Managed a caseload of approximately 30 clients at a time, meeting all monthly and annual targets

• Designed, built and facilitated an intensive three week leadership development curriculum for an international and inter-cultural cohort.• Selected, and led a delegation of 29 African and Canadian student leaders to the 2006 International AIDS Conference in Toronto• Provided coaching and support for leaders as they crafted and delivered presentations for the international AIDS conference,n focusing on creating leadership opportunities tailored to individual strengths • Managed a budget of $200,000, reporting to CIDA
