I have worked for the last 14 years in education. I began my journey after graduating from my Bachelor of Education in 2006 and had the privilege of working with youth and adults at the Alberta Legislature sharing my passion for history and politics as a tour guide and historical interpreter. From there I worked in programming and event planning at a wonderful museum/gallery for 3 years where I learned so much about volunteerism, commitment and loving what I do. This led me to focus my passion on adult education and I worked in residence life at Nipissing University for 7 years and in other student centered coaching roles and academic administration for 2 years. Currently, I am continuing my career in higher education as the Distance Education Campus Director at Canadian Career College. While working full time, I recently fulfilled a dream to complete my Masters degree in education. I count myself extremely fortunate to love what I do and will continue to focus on a career that I am passionate about.
