I owned and was the senior research and design (R&D) lead for mobile, device, and non-card payment technologies - such as contactless payments, new card terminals and eCommerce payments. I mentored a team of 5 usability researchers, visual designers, Web analytics specialists and managed external design agencies.

I was brought into Mastercard to develop a robust human factors practice. I delivered information architecture, interaction design, and usability research and testing expertise to internal business partners and to the largest global banks. I developed team expertise in device usability and design and mentored 4 fellow usability analysts on device human factors research protocols.

I co-founded the human factor research and design-thinking business with a focus on electronic medical device manufacturers. Together, Dr. North and I mentored industrial design and mechanical/electrical engineers to integrate human factors methods and research protocols in device design and evaluation. I loved partnering with the FDA/CDRH and healthcare providers to implement our analytical framework to assess device usability.

I managed a team of 8 information architects, software engineers and business analysts. I directed and led design and delivery of strategy and management consulting to Fortune 500 companies. I loved the daily challenges of analyzing a client's existing and legacy systems, then delivering strategic high technology and sourcing solutions to maximize their operational effectiveness and increase revenues. To do this, I established and managed collaborative relationships with third-party software and service providers and internal technical and business leads.
