Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness is a community based organization that focuses on creating a healthier Staten Island especially for those who are facing a health burden. Tackling Youth Substance Abuse (TYSA) is a nationally recognized collective impact effort to combat substance misuse on Staten Island.• Member of Steering Committee for TYSA Initiative• Planned and coordinated a college alcohol forum with 3 local Staten Island colleges• Facilitated meetings for TYSA Alcohol Workgroup• Co-wrote 2 successful grants totaling $628,000 from national and local funders to sup-port TYSA over a 5 year period• Analyzed data from emergency room visits, community needs assessment, and othersources of local and state data to inform program implementation for alcohol workgroup
