Hello, my name is Kate Coslett. I'm a graphic designer, interior designer, and artist with an extensive background in global branding, innovative packaging, and creating inspiring solutions for my clients.I am the owner of COLOR Design Strategy, my own little dream business that allows me to flex my creative muscles without limits. I continue to evolve my graphic design business with all the wonderful people I've met throughout my career (now sprinkled across the globe). Interior design has inspired and reignited a light in me that I didn't realize needed relit. Some weekends you'll even see me hustling my watercolors and prints at urban flea markets. I'm an artist, and I embrace experiences that connect me to collaborative opportunities.Prior to owning my own business, I was a Senior Design Manager with Danone North America on So Delicious Dairy Free. From my extensive agency background to learning the art of designing an experience, I brought new perspective and creative energy to help build a powerhouse in-house design agency. We strategized and communicated daily with innovation and consumer insight teams. This group was, and still is, a unique and efficient force to be reckoned with. I helped reimagine the foundation and design processes, starting with the award winning Horizon Organic brand redesign.I had the creative ride of a lifetime at Brave Berlin just before our big move across the country. There I had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple arts organizations, such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Ballet. I've been fascinated by the notion of designing an experience, most notably with the creative production of Cincinnati's LUMENOCITY. https://vimeo.com/114588893During my career, I’ve impacted multiple iconic brands. These include Horizon Organic, Wallaby, Olay, Always, Folgers, Millstone, Pringles, Pampers, Swiffer, Oral B, Pantene, Tampax, Cascade, Pur, LPK, Renuzit, Brachs, JBL, Harman, Coleman, Purex, Kroger, Iams, and Eukanuba. I know milk, I know coffee, I know dog food, I know maxi pads, I know surround sound, and I know diapers. I make it my business to know what I design and who I’m designing it for. I yearn for creative liberty + making the consumer the center of the design strategy and product experience. I aim for goosebumps + taking people's breath away with my work. Throughout the process, I establish a natural and distinguished sense of trust and collaboration with clients and my peers. I believe that's when the magic happens.

Senior Design ManagerDanone Apr 2017 - May 2019Broomfield, ColoradoWhitewave was aquired by Danone in April 2017.As a Design Manager, I work to build our brands in our unique internal agency structure. I've redesigned Horizon Organic from the brand foundation stage, lead and created the packaging redesign, established a photo strategy and helped strategize and implement social/digital guidelines and strategies. I'm now well on my way to do similar things with So Delicious, our premium Dairy Free brand. The most interesting and exciting part of my job, is to see the brands come to life across multiple platforms including R&D and consumer insights and to be on the front end of that as the design voice. It is a passion point for me to be a part of product innovation and to dream up new ideas based on trends and the power of design. -
