Policy Intern with the Office of NYC Comptroller Brad Lander. Studied public education policy, researched methods of reducing segregation in NYC schools, and assessed the implications of a new city law that aims to reduce the number of students permitted in city classrooms.

As head of Yale Votes' Organizing branch, I led a team that conducted direct outreach to Yalies about voter registration, election deadlines, and upcoming YV events & initiatives. Implemented a "Voter Ambassador" program for the 2022 midterms, where YV members were assigned to groups of Yale students as a point of contact for election- and voting-related questions.

I was part of the Stop Solitary CT group for YUPP, which advocates against solitary confinement and was instrumental in convincing Governor Lamont to sign legislation limiting the practice's use in Connecticut. Contacted elected officials, planned protests, panels, and other events, and helped manage SSCT's social media pages and website.

Researched a variety of issues affecting children in NYC and advocated for the state and city budgets to allocate greater resources towards supporting young New Yorkers. Helped write, conduct, and analyze a survey of over 1,300 NYC youth that assessed young people's political priorities.

Responsible for teaching middle-school students fundamental rules and strategies of debate in twice-weekly lessons. I led lectures on monthly topics, organized skill-building games and drills, and helped students improve public speaking ability.
