I step in and handle extra cases as needed often during the H-1B annual deadline, when a firm brings on a new client but hasn't 'staffed up' yet to meet the extra demand, when a permanent paralegal is on leave or is let go and the firm is looking for a permanent replacement. I prep all forms and letters for the case. The permanent staff of the firm continues to handle all communications with the client. I am simply behind the scenes preparing cases so that customer service expectations and deadlines can be met.
