As a seasoned pharmacist with a focus on public health, I've always been driven to improve healthcare access. Now, I'm part of a team spearheading an innovative community-based program to help patients overcome cost barriers to critical medications. In addition, I support other programs in my area of Specialty Health including Kidney Health Care, Hemophilia Assistance Program and Children with Special Healthcare Needs. I have experience in formulary review, prior authorizations, claims processing, and legislative directives. Here's what excites me:Guiding patients to existing resources: I'm passionate about empowering people to find the support already available in their communities.My diverse experience: From inpatient psychiatric pharmacy to policy writing, I leverage my background to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. I love collaborating with other agency partners and outside stakeholders to drive change in healthcare while also staying up-to-date with medications entering the market and treatment guidelines.
