In this role I took on the responsibilities of data collection and analysis, responded in a timely fashion to issues related to waste diversion and collection, and supported admin staff in data monitoring and retention where necessary. I was especially involved in resident-relations and dealt with resident’s concerns on a daily basis. This role has improved my ability to be flexible, efficient, and decisive - yet compassionate - for those in the community I serve.

Working with the Sustainability Office Manager and Sustainability Coordinator, the Sustainability Ambassador is responsible for enhancing and educating UTSC students, staff and faculty on sustainability. Kate creates awareness of sustainability practices on and off-campus by engaging with fellow peers and student clubs and organizations. In this role, she plans and organizes various sustainability and environmental-related initiatives and events, while recruiting other interested members of the UTSC community.

In this role I advise customers on how to best care for their jewelry and advertise product. I also consult with customers to find products that best fit their needs.

In this role I operated powered industrial trucks, performed metal checks to ensure product was metal-free, and assembled containers to be taken for shipment.

In this role I performed sanitation procedures, corresponded with grill staff to best meet the needs of guests, and recorded guests' orders.

In this role I compiled information for reference for the Mayor's Office and Waste Management. I also helped a Councilor formulate a presentation on Peterborough's waste and assisted in the preparation for the visit on the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

In this role I had an override and was able to assist other cashiers by supplying their till with adequate change and bills. I also helped train staff on how to use the cash register and resolved problems surrounding points cards.
