I create engaging, effective learning that empowers learners and aids in their growth and success. Getting to the meat of a problem through needs analysis, figuring out how best to convey the change needed to resolve the issue, and then creating and implementing that plan to improve organizational outcomes are all extremely satisfying to me. They allow me to scratch my creative itch and make me tap into my critical-thinking and problem-solving skills (I love a good puzzle). Though I have been designing, developing, and implementing thoughtful training content for many years, I strengthened my skills by attending the Applied Instructional Design Academy. Their challenging program provided me with the tools and knowledge needed to obtain certificates in Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Vyond. I also obtained my Bachelors of Arts from SUNY Empire State College.My professional goal is to produce impactful training programs, enhanced learner performance, and improved business functions.As much as I love creating eLearning, not all my time is spent developing content. Work-life balance is something I make a priority. When I'm not working you can find me spending time with my family, traveling, trying new recipes, singing loudly and with little skill, and making grocery lists at 6am for fun.
