Self-taught and self-driven, I found my own winding way through with determination and a belief that I could do anything I set my mind to. I went from college bartender, to floral company owner, to food blogger, to social media and marketing manager, to eventually landing in creative project management– I even got close to launching my own beauty product (I’m not done, stay tuned). It has been a wild ride. My love for learning and passion for mastery continually drive me. There is an endless amount of information out there, and I believe that each connection we can make, each person we can collaborate with and learn from, only drives the desire to know and absorb more. It’s through this upbringing that I so fully believe in being open to what others have to offer, not just focusing on our own skills, but admitting there is always room to grow and flex in what we do, what we believe, what people can teach us (especially about ourselves), and what we think we know. As the Operations Principal of The Hush Collaborative, I'm lucky enough to practice this daily: the ebb and flow of info, creating, imagining things anew and then sometimes immediately re-imaging them. Moments that make you say 'yes!' and others that make you wonder if you asked the right questions to begin with. At Hush, our intentional process and baked-in learning model allow me to live my values on a day-to-day basis. Listening, collaborating, and practicing is our practice– being face to face with vulnerability. Our calling is each other, and I am here for it.
