About Kate Glantz
Do gooder with an entrepreneurial spirit!I am a creative social impact leader and brand builder with 15 years of progressive experience across the public and private sectors. I have a track record of developing strong networks and values-driven partnerships across complex, cross-cultural landscapes that yield innovative results. My journey hasn't been linear, but the through line has always been connecting people to each other and opportunities in pursuit of a fairer, kinder, and more joyful world. I’m most at home at the intersection of marketing and impact and thrive in roles that are either first of their kind or require a lot of imagination and heart. In December 2023, I completed a sabbatical that allowed me to travel the world, walk the Camino de Santiago (twice!), and even start a street food social enterprise in Zanzibar. In January 2024, I embarked on a new journey into the skilled trades. As a first step, I completed a pre-apprenticeship program in the construction trades, with an emphasis on residential carpentry, at Mesa Community College. After a career primarily built online, learning how to *literally* build stuff has been incredibly rewarding! As of August 2024, I became a Co-Founder at Move Over Bob and am now blending this education with my marketing and social impact skill set to help rebrand the trades as a more inclusive place for women. All in all, I am reenergized and excited for a new chapter of purpose-filled work. If I can be helpful to you as it relates to navigating social impact jobs, taking a sabbatical, making a crazy pivot, or anything in between, send me a note! And if you're interested in talking (wood) shop, offering me advice on the construction industry, or collaborating in some capacity, don't be shy...I'd love to hear from you!
