Launched Zanzibar's first street food tour company with a Zanzibari friend. We offer daily breakfast and dinner tours that introduce visitors to authentic Zanzibari culture through delicious street food. Eat Like a Zanzibari works directly with local food vendors that have historically been excluded from the tourism economy due to off-the-beaten-path.

Served in an executive function at Luma, a 300+ person global VFX studio, leading the company’s social impact and innovation efforts. Specifically, I developed and produced a slate of initiatives rooted in culture and community to foster civic engagement and collaboration among Americans from different backgrounds.

Hired as the first communications advisor for the CDC Tanzania field office. Wrote speeches for senior United States Government leadership, established public relations protocols, and improved interagency and Government of Tanzania communication.

Led health education and and income generation activities to improve maternal and child health and support orphans and vulnerable children in a rural Tanzanian village. Projects included launching a women's business club to create and sell batik fabric and raising 200 chickens with students to sell eggs that covered the cost of their school fees and meals.
