I led the integration of revenue generation, program development and institution-building to identify new high net worth donor constituencies and create donor-centric engagement programs for major andplanned gifts. My efforts have secured over $16 million in support across two capital campaigns, and attracted hundreds of new donors for environmental and biodiversity science. In addition to fundamental science, much of this funding was dedicated to nurturing the careers of emerging tropical scientists from tropical nations.

Short-term Fulbright grant, turned into pro-bono consulting role to Corporación Manos Visibles, an NGO based in Bogotá, Colombia. Activities included:+ Developing and delivering a comprehensive and coherent fundraising strategy for the organization+ Designing a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, including income streams from individuals, major gifts, corporate, events, foundations/trusts+ Training staff in fundraising procedures and practices+ Proposing structural redesign of the organization to achieve strategic goals and optimize staff capabilities
