Successfully merged the two disparate post-award teams and developed and maintained current team repository for shared resources, standardized workload, metrics reporting, and training materials promoting area-wide consistency, best practices, increased performance, and decreased turnaround time.

Managed two team leads and 14 employees responsible for the review, negotiation, and execution of more than 5,000 incoming and outgoing contracts, subcontracts, and foundation awards for Mass General Brigham hospitals. Lobbied for, and chaired, a process improvement initiative that successfully reduced the turnaround time for processing foundation-sponsored grant agreements by 30 business days. Rehabilitated the contracting process by implementing workflow practices and developing standard operating procedures to improve efficiencies, increase customer satisfaction, and mitigate contractual risk. Collaborated with organizational legal offices to define institutional stance on terms and conditions for sponsored research agreements and partnered with local area institutions and top funding organizations to develop master agreements to increase efficiencies, relieve legal capacity, and ensure rapid execution of research agreements.
