I am currently employed by Coventry and Warwickshire CDA and work on two contracts we deliver Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County CouncilBoth CWCDA projects are fully funded and Multiply Money, Money Maths runs until 2025 where I have a comprehensive role in sourcing delivery locations, connecting with local Warwickshire community groups, charitable organisations, schools and colleges, businesses and local councils as well as individuals looking to improve their maths skills by attending our three two hour workshops on Cost of Living Support. I have also recently project managed other short term projects with the CDA including an online podcasting project, teaching unemployed Warwickshire residents to write and produce and upload a podcast as well as create a real episode. I managed an employability project for Warwickshire Skills Hub, helping local young people with an ASD diagnosis to improve their employment prospects and go into further education, training or work. In my previous role at CWCDA as Opportunity Connector I supported over 12 partner organisations in the delivery of employability services to participants on the Accelerate project. Facilitating partner co-operative working and building strong links within the community to support unemployed people in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. Promoting Accelerate to the wider community and emphasising our supportive and free help to get back into work.Accelerate worked holistically with participants to break down barriers and move each person closer to their goal of employment, including one-to-one meetings with a Journey Guide who accessed services such as confidence courses and vocational training alongside mental health support and light touch referrals to other services.
