About Kate J. Mickelson
I’ve always felt fortunate to have an undeniable draw to the arts. I was accepted into an elite art program that I continued all the way through high school. I went onto receive a painting scholarship at a liberal arts college where I quickly became fascinated by the breadth of marketing and the ability to express art in digital form. Today my mac is my main canvas. I am an art director by profession, creative by nature. I find thrills in using my innovative ideas, marketing knowledge, and diverse experience in art to solve problems and produce emotion evoking design. Outside of work you’ll find me scuba diving, experimenting with craft cocktail recipes, and creating new linocut prints for various non-profit initiatives. I’ve worked on a diversified collection of clients and companies, including:SnapchatSubaru of AmericaMGA EntertainmentL.O.L Surprise!U.S. BankWPP | Wunderman ThompsonMinnesota Twins Qualcomm | SnapdragonTruviaAXS TVFabFitFunHelzberg DiamondsRed Baron PizzaStacy’s Pita ChipsSherwin WilliamsThermosZeviaMeet MinneapolisJennie-OP.R.
