Working with the Transformation Trust, aiming to help pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds develop new skills, grow in confidence, learn to work as a team, and discover hidden talents and interests. Delivering programmes which help equip them with core skills, such as numeracy, communication and technological fluency, which are valued in the workplace and will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

In the UK, one third of young people are lonely, half feel unready for work and half feel like they don’t belong to their community.Our vision is #YoungPeopleCan and we help young people in Greater Manchester overcome this. Worked as part of the national Youth Education Management Team, providing strategic direction and support for operational managers across the UK. Recruited and managed a team of 3 people, to run a support centre to provide administrative and logistical support for educators. Was responsible for marketing the education sessions to schools and youth groups, creating systems and processes to ensure efficiency.

Managing a team of staff and volunteers across the northwest to teach young people first aid and humanitarian education. Aiming to improve confidence, attitudes and willingness to help other people. We work with many different groups of young people, tacking lots of challenging issues, with the aim of opening up opportunities for young people, working towards a humanitarian ideal.
