A new startup role advising 400+ parishes in the Diocese of St Albans – working with parish clergy and volunteers to grow their charitable income with practical and strategic support incorporating:- Regular giving, legacy giving, contactless and digital giving and capital fundraising.- Advising on best practice in giving mechanisms - Advising on compelling and persuasive fundraising literature and communications. Working with them on a year-round schedule of communications- Advising on and planning giving campaigns focusing on regular and legacy giving, and on capital campaigns and major gifts

- A search engine optimisation business - researching and analysing keywords my site could rank for on Google, creating content to fit these keywords then optimising it and tracking its performance over time to maximise traffic.- My blog gets 2.1m visits per year, has 29k social media followers and 7.5k subscribers to my (automated) weekly e-newsletter. - Monetised mainly through an agency who sell advertising space on the site, and occasionally via brand partnerships, sponsored recipe posts, affiliate sales and freelance recipe development and photography work.- My cookbook Vegan in 15 was published in January 2017 by Short Books, supported by an 8-page supplement of my recipes in The Times magazine. It has now sold 10,000 copies.

A new startup post to create the 'St Albans School Foundation', establishing a new charitable income stream to raise money for bursaries and capital projects through:- Regular giving programme- Legacy programme- Major Gifts programme - commissioning a feasibility study, recruiting a dynamic and high-profile campaign board, running a capital campaign- Establishing a new alumni relations programme- Commissioning, installing and customising fundraising database

Based at the National Gallery, London. The Public Catalogue Foundation is now known as ArtUK- A new startup post as sole fundraiser, to formalise and develop fundraising procedures, increase central funding, and nurture relationships with new and existing supporters. - Grant applications to large national and smaller regional and local charitable trusts.- Developing and implementing a standard strategy for 10 county fundraising appeals per year,- Sponsorship proposals to local and national corporate supporters. - Working with a consultant on Heritage Lottery Fund bid which eventually became a BBC partnership. - Commissioning and populating a brand new database, and establishing standardised systems and processes for fundraising in a fast growing new charity.

A new startup post as the museum’s sole fundraiser, starting up and developing a fundraising infrastructure as the museum embarked on a major capital development project. Researching and writing many grant applications including charitable trusts, EU funds, Arts Council and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Maximising income and raising awareness of this national medical charity through events and community fundraising.
