As Causewave's first-ever COO, I was responsible for: the management and growth of our people and operations, including HR, finance and internal communications; evaluating and evolving Causewave’s suite of programs to ensure they are aligned with the needs of the region’s nonprofit sector; and, developing meaningful partnerships with nonprofits and community groups, businesses, and community leaders.

As VP of Programs, I have the honor of leading our talented program team that works with our 200+ nonprofit partners on marketing and behavior change efforts in order to make our community a better place. As a member of our small, but growing team, I'm also charged with partnership development, campaign and capacity building program development, strategic initiatives and organizational advancement.

This role included business and partnership development, campaign management, capacity building program development and delivery, and all traditional and online communications activity for the organization.

Primary responsibilities included working with nonprofit organizations on capacity building programs, contributing to major public service initiatives, event planning and new event development, and the marketing and promotion of Ad Council activities and programs.

Assisted in the marketing efforts of the organization while collaborating with Colgate University to meet their needs of providing a downtown environment that attracts new students and recruits new donors. Responsible for the planning and execution of the town’s festival series, which included advertising and marketing strategies and tactics, sponsor and vendor solicitation, volunteer recruitment, permitting, scheduling, entertainment, facility logistics, food, and kid’s activities.

Experienced event mobile marketing first-hand with innovative wireless technology while traveling throughout the United States for the length of the NFL season. Conducted preliminary site visits to ensure venues adherence to the requirements of event. Collaborated with agency partners to coordinate all aspects of on-site activities based on event location, target audience and key objectives. Determined on-site execution procedures including checklist of site plans, supplies and communications. Facilitated on-site research studies in order to isolate areas to improve performance. Provided weekly online and written event summaries and market recaps. Organized all national travel arrangements and budgeting with Octagon manager.
