Throughout my six years as a educator, I have developed many transferrable skills that would be an asset to any organization. I have excellent time-management and organizational skills fostered through high pressures to meet deadlines and manage curriculum, engagement, and student information.My experience in program management comes from years of overseeing the many projects in my classroom, on various committees, and in my community, ensuring those programs are aligned with my organization's objectives to improve performance and overall effectiveness.One of my best qualities is my strong ability to manage people and change. Education is a constantly evolving industry, and through both my pursuit of my post-graduate degree and on-the-job experiences, I gained familiarity with best practices in change management (Kotter's, McKinsey 7-S, SMART goal setting, etc.) and developed a transformative leadership style.While education tends to be seen as an isolated industry from the private-sector world, much of what I did on a day-to-day basis has prepared me to enter a multitude of other professions. Coupled with my willingness to learn, I know that I can be successful in any role.
