I'm the person who keeps the meeting from wrapping early, but to ask useful questions. :)I have had the privilege of building my career in human resources at Microsoft, working my way through a variety of roles in recruiting and operations in the University, Early in Career, and PhD spaces. No matter what position I held, I always explained University Recruiting as "The most fun you can have in HR." My passion for articulating and documenting/ improving processes led me to opportunities to implement new tools and manage change on a global scale as a Business PM in the Operations Team. After what I've dubbed a "kid-life crisis" (parenthood is the most extreme of onboarding processes) I made the decision to step away from my last role and take some time to assess what I want to spend my time doing when I'm not mothering the next Evel Knievel. Where I shine: Finding simple solutions to complex problems, applying processes across multiple contexts, building relationships with teams, learning and development.Proud Moment: Writing and training the University Recruiting Team on a formula I created to help recruiters simplify offer comparisons for candidates. Impactful Moment:Writing a field guide for our PhD recruiting team to help facilitate a 72 person technical recruiting event on the fly when the entire season had to transition to a virtual environment immediately. #2020
