I am a photographer/creator with a passion for storytelling. Growing up I loved reading, drawing, and telling stories to anyone who would listen. Fast-forwarding to my college years, I took a leap of faith and decided to change my major from psychology to studio art. I took a photography class my freshman year, and while I didn't know what I would do with the degree, I knew the arts program was the right fit for me. For almost three years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping families tell their stories with Bella Baby Photography. As an in-hospital newborn photographer, I’ve met people from all walks of life and had the opportunity to help them create special memories in the first days of their newborn’s lives. I’ve continued to hone my photography skills, learned to process a high volume of images in a fast-paced environment, and built positive relationships with clients.As a recent graduate with a master's degree in digital marketing, I am ready to shift my career focus to the world of marketing. During my time in Northern Illinois University's MSDM program, I’ve gained hands-on experience working with organizations to assess the company’s online presence, conduct keyword research, and develop a digital content strategy. I learned about AI in digital marketing and took classes in brand strategy, responsive web design, and data visualization. True to my creative roots, I found a love of content marketing through NIU’s digital marketing program. I am looking forward to beginning my career in digital marketing and utilizing my new skills to help a non-profit organization or business share its story with the world.
